President Obama paid a visit today to those of us up here living in the tundra. It has warmed up just in time. Today we're seeing temps in the teens instead of the single digits we had last week ;-)

Here's what Air Force One looks like landing under those conditions.

I guess Senators Klobuchar and Franken hitched a ride home on Air Force One.

And here is President Obama greeting the first female Police Chief in Minneapolis Janee Harteau - who also happens to be openly gay.

Yep, we raise 'em right up here in the tundra. Or as Garrison Keillor says, "Welcome to Lake Wobegon - where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking and all the children are above average."
